The Kosmopolite Art Tour hits Brussels

The launch of the second Belgian edition of the Kosmopolite Art Tour, a collaboration between Farm Prod, Laid Back, Chez Zelle and Urbana, is drawing closer. After Brussels in 2010, this year Louvain-la-Neuve will be invaded by a mix of the finest Belgian and international street artists. They will add a dash of colour to the youngest city in the country from 30 July to 5 August. But Brussels won't be entirely ignored. Next to the Kosmorigins exhibition at Montana Gallery (rue de la Madeleine 19) from 26 July until 30 August, Brussels has been warming up the minds for several days now with the installation of three brand-new murals. Two Brussels walls have been finished, and it must be said: the results are impressive. Brussels-born Steve Locatelli has made an unforgettable mural at rue Georges Leclercqstraat 9 in Vorst/Forest, and Sozyone (Gonzalez, from Brussels band De Puta Madre) just finished his funky wall at the crossing of rue Moretusstraat and boulevard Poincarélaan 36 in Anderlecht. Right now, MetaParole is working on the third and last wall of the Brussels warm-up in the city centre. We can't wait!
